Welcome to the Accelerated Learning Foundation's home on the web. Please
explore the learning games that we currently administer:
- The Math-Science Quest for Solutions on the
Internet to provide an opportunity for teachers throughout the United States
and around the world to enable their students to use experimental science to
cope with challenging puzzles in elementary and advanced mathematics.
- The NetWork versions of
EQUATIONS (math), WFF 'N PROOF (logic) and other educational games that enable
individuals and classrooms of students to play these games with each other
over the Internet.
- A pair of games about LEGAL RELATIONS to help law
students become fluent in the LEGAL RELATIONS Language - a language that can
express all legal states of affairs, all changes in such states, all legal
rules and all legal arguments. The preliminary game, LawToe, is an introduction to the
prescriptive ideas invlolved in defining LEGAL RELATIONS, which are delt with
in complete detail the Legal Argument Game of LEGAL
RELATIONS.

Mission

The mission of the Accelerated Learning
Foundation (ALF) is to promote human dignity throughout the world--in
particular to help equip all human beings to think constructively and
achieve a fuller, richer life by aquiring intellectual skills for making
better decisions in the choices they face
in seeking their goals.
ALF's program to learn to think constructively is implemented on the
Internet in curricular and extra-curricular activities organized by
schools and other organizations to participate in instructional games and
puzzles that involve fundamental reasoning skills in logic, mathematics,
experimental science, computer programming, language arts, and analysis of
the logical structure of natural language (English).
